Mad for Markers 2nd Birthday Blog Hop

Southern Girls 1st Birthday Blog Hop

Good morning Blogging Beauties,

Today is a very exciting day!  Southern Girls is one year old.

Can you believe it and what a fantastic year it has been with the support from all our wonderful sponsors, and to be on the best Design Team anyone could wish for.

In my card I have used a cute little digi image from Simply Betty. He is called Tangled Jude and he is on special for $1.50.  If you want him you can get him here.  Our theme for the hop is birthday and my image looks a little more Christmassy I know....but I decided to make him into a birthday card for someone who has their birthday on Christmas day.  A special birthday card with a Christmas theme.  (I think it could be in my stash for awhile before he finds his next home, but I am okay with that because I like him.  I think he is quite cute!!)  Also for our theme you have to include layers.  I made sure I had heaps and heaps of layers on my card.

There are loads of prizes to be won and each DT member on the blog hop has a prize to share.

My prize is from Simply Betty.  She is giving away 3 digital images to one lucky lady who 1 - comments on my blog and 2 - enters the challenge at Southern Girls.

M4M BIG Copical Blog Hop

Welcome to the Mad for Markers BIG Copical blog hop! We are excited today to be hopping around the blogworld with bloggers from all over the world who all LOVE colouring with COPICS!

For my creation today I have made a birthday card for my neice Charlotte who turns six years old on Saturday.

I used my Greeting Farm stamp - Hats off to Anya that I bought from the Mad for Markers online store.

I coloured her hair in brown and I made my own flower out of white chiffon that I coloured with my Copics to match the colours of the card.


Please excuse the light in my photos.  Unfortunately it is very bleak and wintry here and the sun is no where to be seen : (
