...And more Season's Greetings...

Goodmorning Blogging Buddies,

It is Sunday here and all I want to do today is craft and wash! So I will be making, making, making, then hanging out washing and putting another load in the machine.  Then making, making, making and then hanging out and bringing in etc etc.  I am trying not to get distracted by anything else!  I have more Chrissie cards to share today.  Same digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique, but different paper and colours...again not very traditional...pink and red colours.  The paper is Basic Gray...I don't think it is Christmas paper, but it reminds me of Christmas so I like it on these cards.

I coloured with Copics and the colours are:
R59, R29, RV13 and E37.

And now for a few challenges:
Die Cut Christmas Club - Use a Christmas Digi
Bee Crafty - Christmas

I hope you enjoy your Sunday...whatever you are up to!

Seasons Greetings

Hi Blogging Buddies,

I hope you are having a nice weekend.
I have a set of Christmas Cards to share today.
I used this cute little snowman from Digi Stamp Boutique and I typed the Seasons Greetings sentiment in myself and made the faux stitching border on the computer.  Then I printed it out and trimmed around it.  I coloured the little snowman in with Copics and added Kindy Glitz for his fur trim in his hat.

The colours are:
Greens - YG03. YG06, G14
Brown - E29

I went for untraditional Christmas colours of green, white and brown...a little different I know...but I quite like them together.  The DP is SU Christmas paper...but you really wouldn't know it...it could be used for anything I guess.  Imade six of these cards, but have sold two, so am just showing you the four I have left.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Fab'n'Funky - Keep it Clean and Simple
Fussy and Fancy - Winter Wonderland
Stampavie and More - Christmas
ABC Challenge - G is for Glitter

We just finished mowing and whipper-snipping the lawn...takes us ages!  And it was sooo long!  Looks much better now.

Thanks for popping by,

Wedding Cards

 Hi Blogging Buddies,
I really liked this paper I used on the invites a few days ago so I thought I would make some wedding cards.  The image came from the Digi Stamp Boutique.  When I make sets of cards I look for images that dont have too much colouring so they dont take all day to make.  For this image I just coloured the hearts using Copics (cool greys) and then covered it over with Kindy Glitz.  I am a bit obsessed with black and white at the moment.
I would like to enter:
Digistamp Boutique - October Competition
Stamp Something - October Digi Day Challenge
Totally Gorjuss - Sparkle

I have finished on the kinder class (aka adorable little angels) and go to Grade Five tomorrow...say a prayer for me if you get time...I might be needing it!

Hi Blogging Buddies,

Are you getting sick of my clean and simple cards yet?
I promise to show some more detailed work soon...but I needed more male b'day cards this week and these turned out to be suitable for either male or female I think. The digi image is from Designed to Delight I won a $10 voucher at their store and I stocked up on some lovely digis including this one which I cut out with circle nesties layered onto Tempting Turqouise and balck and SU DP. I added blue and balck ribbon and coloured in little bits of the image and added a teeny bit of Kindy Glitz for the flame of the candle.

I would like to enter these cards at:

A busy working week coming up for me this week...one more day on Kinder, then Grade 5, Grade 2 and then back to Kinder...lets see how I go!

Something a little different - Wedding Invites

 Good afternoon Blogging Buddies,
Happy Sunday afternoon to you all.  It has been raining all day here today...lovely for all of the plants and gardens. I made these wedding invites for a relative who was interested in getting some made.  The first one is the design she liked the best.  Above is the front view.
This is the inside view and below is the back of the invite.
The second design I made was a white, black and silver colour scheme with a heart-shaped ribbon buckle.  I thought i would enter this card in
Crafty Catz - Black, white and one other colour (silver)
 This is the inside.

These were my first attempts ever at wedding invites...so not such a bad effort I guess.

Owl Cards - Anything Goes

 Goodevening Blogging Buddies,
When I first started making this simple owl cards I really didnt think that they would be so popular! But lots of people love owls I guess!  Here is another eight Owl Thank You cards.

My aim was to make them as close to the original "Owl Thank you Card" I made awhile back so they all look pretty much the same...just a few variations.  Two of each colour.  The owls are a print out from Polka Doodles.  Scroll down to see all eight cards.

A big stack of Christmas Cards

Hi Blogging Buddies,

I have this stack of Chrissie cards to share tonight. Very, very simple ones...but oh so many! My finger nails were sore after this lot from peeling back all that double-sided tape.
They are exactly the same design I made awhile back...just changed the colours and I embossed the white ink. Stands out nicely on the dark card. I am in love with white ribbon at the moment...this roll I can get from Spotlight for $1. Went back and got another four rolls today and they were on special - 80c. If you live near a Spotlight it is worth having a look. They have all colours...but no black unfortunately...another fave ribbon colour for me.

I would like to enter the following challenge:
Lollipop Crafts - Winter Play

Today I spent three hours in the garden planting my new Star Jasmine hedge. It consists of 15 plants. I will take a photo soon and show you...I had planned on taking a photo, but the shade had covered over by the time I had finished. I hope they grow well! Back to work tomorrow for three days on a Kindy class.

I hope you had a good day. Thanks for visiting.

Three Flower Thank You Card

Hi Blogging Buddies,

Some more clean and simple cards to share today.
These were made with all very old stash...good to use some of it up!
The card, DP and stamps are all Stampin' Up.  The ribbon is from Big W but actually matches the Tempting Turquoise perfectly.

I did quite a bit of shopping in Newcastle on the weekend.  I bought a new handbag, some new shoes, a dress, a pair of pants and three work shirts for Ben...I wont mention how much it all cost...I also ate out at some lovely cafes and restaurants...so I did have a nice time.

Carrie, my friend I went shopping with, and I saw Jennifer Hawkins (Australian model) in the flesh at the opening of the refurbished Myer at Charlestown.  She is of course absolutely gorgeous...very tall and very toned!  One could only wish....

Today I mainly caught up on washing and had a pretty easy day...recovering I guess.

I would like to enter these cards in :

ABC Challenge - F is for Flowers

I am finalising my large order I had for cards last week...only a few more to make and then I can post off the last batch...then I have a few more orders waiting and some DT cards I need to get onto asap.

Happy Monday,

A Stack of B'day Cards Using Tickled Pink Digis

 Good evening Blogging Buddies,
I am back home after our weekend away and trying to do the whole catch-up thing you do when you get home.  I wanted to share with you some cards I made last week from my candy win at Tickled Pink Stamps.  I received an A4 sheet of digis and so I set about putting them on some cards.  I kept the cards clean and simple using papers from DCWV Alphabet Stack and Melon Mambo card and ribbon.  I coloured with pink Copic markers and added Kindy Glitz.  (There are eight cards altogether so just scroll on down.)

I would like to enter in a few challenges:

I hope you had a lovely weekend.
