Tommy Taking a bath and a 50th Tri-Shutter card

Hi Blogging Beauties,

Just had to share this cute little pic of Tommy having a bath in the laundry sink.
He really does get that doggy smell about him so a fortnightly bath is going to be a regular occurrence I think.  Luckily he loves it and Ben happily gives it to him!

Last Saturday night we went to my Uncle/Cousin's 50th Birthday.
I made him a tri-shutter card...havent made one of these for ages.
I had this Kenny K image already coloured in my stash and so I just needed to pop her on the card.  I did lots of faux stitching with a white gel pen and did the writing with the white gel pen as well.  It kind of turned out a bit like a chalk board.

The copics I coloured with were:
C1, C3, C5, C7
Black 100
R59, R27, RV13
E51, E21, R20

Thanks for popping on over to my blog.
I hope you have a good week.

Tri-Shutter Horse 40th Cards

Hi Blogging Beauties,

Just a quick little post of some horse cards I was asked to make.
I made two for the lady to choose from.
My personal favourite was the sepia card, but she chose the red and black.
Just goes to show everyone has different tastes!

Tell me which one your fave is?

I will put some more candy up very soon.
I hope you are having a lovely Easter weekend.
Will catch up on comments soon.

50th Wedding Anniversary

Hi Blogging Beauties,

Sorry I have been missing in action lately.
Life has been keeping me from blogging.  There is a lot going on at the moment while Ben and I figure out what we are doing with our lives lol!
But today I have two cards I made for two ladies who wanted 50th Wedding Anniversary Cards.

I went with these pretty gold papers again.
I don't normally use gold on my cards, but this occasion certainly called for it!

I kept the second one quite simple.
Ben of course loves it because he loves the Clean and Simple style.

I would like to link up to:
Michelle's Make it Monday at Pink Paper Paradise
Michelle is looking for a Design Team so head on over if you are interested!

My candy for this week that I am giving away is:
Cute little Dangling Edwin.
I have bought more EZMount, so this time he is mounted and ready to use!
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and be a follower!
This is my third candy in about three weeks and it is so nice to send a little something to my frequent blogging friends.

I hope you have a lovely week.

Male Birthday Card with No Embellishments!

Good morning Blogging Beauties,

It is the weekend - yay! We have a busy couple of days coming up...I am getting in and posting a card now, because I dont think I will have much time this weekend...boo hoo...I miss making cards when life gets in the way!

This card I made for our friend Ben W.  I always try to make him a really nice card, so each year now I have to try and beat the last year's one!  This card has no embellishments at all!!  Just an image and paper.  I tried to keep it masculine.  I am loving these tri-shutter cards with Kenny K images.  They are fun to make.  She is pretty sexy don't ya think!

 I coloured with Copics:
Skin: R20, E21, E00
Reds: R59, R35, R27, R29, RV13
Greys: C-1, C-3, C-5, C-7
Black 100

Today I have afternoon tea at my sister's, then a charity ball tonight and tomorrow a day out with Ben's Mum at an organised fair/charity thing...so there is a bit on.  We also have family up visiting my Nan who is expected to come out of hospital on Tuesday.

I hope your weekend is peaceful and enjoyable.
Thanks for visiting.
