Hello lovely Kaisercrafters, Alicia here with you today!
This week on the Kaisercraft Blog we are focusing on the product Kaiser Mists. We have a whole week of inspirational tips, tutorials and projects in store for you dedicated to this amazing product! I thought I would start off the week with a little video about the range of colours that are available and five techniques you can use with your Kaiser Mists...
In the video I also talk about some projects I have made using Kaiser Mists. I will go through each of the four projects below...
Project One: "Always and Forever" Layout using the Always and Forever Collection
We recently had a wedding last month in my family. My brother and his beautiful fiancee got married in Tamworth, NSW. This is a photo of my sister and her three gorgeous cherubs outside the church. My sister's husband is missing from this photo, but it was such a beautiful photo and I felt the colours went really well with the Forever and Always collection so I wanted to use it. I know these three little people are certainly my sister's "Forever and Always" VIP in her life so I thought the photo was quite suited to this collection.
On this project I used three Kaiser Mist products; Peach, Antique Gold and Charcoal. I sprayed Peach and Antique Gold onto the Gloss Paper; PS452 Crochet Doilies. Then (as I show in the video) I wiped a baby wipe over the paper to reveal the gloss doily pattern. Then I sprayed the Charcoal on over the top. Using Kaiser Mists on Kaisercraft's Specialty Gloss Paper is an easy and effective way to use your Kaiser Mists.

Project Two: "Love is Friendship set on Fire" Layout using the Always and Forever Collection
After going to my brother's wedding I was browsing through my own wedding photos and I chose this photo to scrap. It was taken on my parent's driveway, at their farm. I selected the lovely Wooden Paper P2089 Romance as a background for the layout because I felt it went nicely with the trees in the photo. This collection really suits a country wedding with its natural colour scheme and floral touches.
On this project I sprayed the Kaisermist Coffee through the 12x12 Designer Template - Floral Lace onto the P2095 Commitment Paper. Using a Kaisercraft 12x12 Designer Template is another super easy and effective way to utilise your Kaiser Mist products.
I also used Kaiser Mist Peach to alter the colour of one of the Coral Paper Blooms for the Layout. If you find you don't have the exact shade of paper Bloom that would match your project you can experiment with changing the colours of your blooms by spraying them with Kaiser Mists.

Project Three: "You are the Sunshine that makes my Day" Card using the Mermaid Tails Collection
I made a card with the beautiful Mermaid Tails Collection. There are so many lovely elements you can fussy cut in these papers. I made a little floral arrangement around a sentiment which I layered on top of a paper doily. I sprayed the paper doily with a variety of Kaiser Mists to make it super colourful and pick up some of the lovely pastel colours in this paper range.
The colours I used were; Turquoise, Candy, Blackberry, Aqua and Pink on top of a plain white Kaisercraft doily.

I also sprayed the background paper using a 12x12 Template T627 Nautical Quarters and the Wisteria Kaiser Mist.

Project Four: "Happy" Tag using the Mermaid Tails Collection
My final project for today is a little tag I made using the Mermaid Tails Collection. For the background of this tag I used the Specialty Gloss Paper from the 6 1/2 inch Paper Pad and the Blackberry Kaiser Mist. The Specialty Gloss Paper also comes in a 12x12 size.
Then I simply decorated with die cuts, collectables and paper blooms.
