I met Becky Higgins!!!

I had the pleasure of meeting the famous Becky Higgins today! What an honour.  She is so beautiful in person and her passion and enthusiasm for life is energising!  I managed to sit and chat with her for a little while and have my photo taken and get her autograph.  What a joy! Nicky came too.  He wasnt so interested - I have no idea why!! I will have to work on his love for Project Life.  Lol.  Watch this space in a few years he will have his own album for sure!

Just wanted to blog this famous encounter!! It was a special day for me!!! I don't want to forget it : )

I Met Heidi Swapp!!!

Hello Friends,

I had an exciting time meeting Heidi Swapp at Spoltlight on the Gold Coast yesterday.

I took Nicholas to playgroup in the morning and then we dropped into Spotlight on our way home.  Nicky fell asleep while we were there and was just waking up as this photo was taken.  

(It was his normal nap time, but I am so glad I went!)

 Heidi was so lovely and genuine and down-to earth and friendly.  It was amazing to see her "make pretty stuff" in real life.  The gathering was small and the people were friendly.  Heidi showed us how to make this little tag/card using her awesome new glittery sprays and stencils.  It was fun!! Then she signed it for me.

Plus, my name was pulled out of the hat and I won this!!! How cool!!!

Made my day really...it was super fun and a real treat for me.

Becky Higgins is going to be at Spotlight on Monday and I cant wait!!!!

I will hopefully blog about that too.

Hello out there

This feels so weird to be writing a blog post.  It seems like another lifetime when I maintained this blog and sometimes posted nearly every day!  I have been thinking about blogging lately and all of a sudden here I am at my computer, typing away.  Since my last post in June we have moved house and Nicholas is walking.  I have published more cards and have been making lots, just not photographing them or blogging about them.

I have taken a few classes at Big Picture Classes, dusted off my sewing machine and made myself a skirt, read some awesome books, have been trying to keep up with my Project Life, and have started Nicholas' baby album.
And just the usual of cooking dinner, keeping the house tidy and spending lots of time with Ben and Nicholas.  Life is good, really good.  I am extremely grateful for everything we have.  We are so lucky.
