Smash Book Recipes

Hi Blogging Beauties,

Have you heard about Smash Bookin'??
Smash Bookin is kind of like scrap booking but it can be messy and quick...it doesnt have to be a perfect page...hence no pressure for each page to be a masterpiece.  This suits me.

There is a free group organised by Suzanne Dean here.  It is full of monthly challenges, conversations and inspiration.  I have decided to make my Smash book into a Recipe Book.  I dont have the proper "Smash Book" I am just using an old photo album and collecting my favourite tried and true recipes and dinner ideas.  I just wanted a place to have all my favourite recipes in one place.  I have done four pages so far.

The top recipe is a delicious and rich slice.  Still three pieces left in the fridge...if you like chocolate and turkish delight give this one a try!

Second one is a vegetarian curry.  Delicious, but I recommend cutting the curry back a lot as it was way too hot for Ben and I.

Third one is a quick and easy, yummy meal.  Could be a salad at a shared dinner or lunch...but we had it as an evening meal on its own.

Last one is a quick and easy chicken recipe.

My Recipe Smash Book idea doesn't really fit into this month's challenge, but I am just linking it up here to share what I have done with the group.

Thank for visiting.

I have been saving recipes pretty much that way for years. OK the pages are not decorated at all! Just snip and glue and put into a 3 ring binder. I go to it BEFORE the big fancy cookbook. I like the tried and true. Those chocolate bars look devine!

Your pages look great and some yummy sounding recipes there too. What a fantastic version of scrap booking. Might be what I need. I really want to scrap my sons school years....just have to get started.
