Paper Play DT ~ Shabby Chic/Vintage

Hi Blogging Beauties,

It is Thursday and that is Paper Play Day! Wow the weeks go by fast!
This week our challenge is Shabby Chic/Vintage.
We are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and the lucky winner receives a $25 voucher!

I made an engagement card for my friend Kendall.  I hope she likes it.

I haven't been entering many challenges lately...so I thought  would enter a couple tonight.

Anything Goes - Distressing
Craft Your Passion - Girly Girly

I hope you are having a good week.
I am off to work tomorrow...a new school rang me and I thought I would give them a try.
Grade Six so wish me luck! I have them Monday as well.
My Nan is back in hospital...but she is going to be ok.
I painted her nails last night and then did mine as well the same colour ~ Flamingo Pink was the name.  It is pretty bright...not my usual colour, but a nice connection we have at the moment.

Thanks for popping by and reading my blog.

Hi Alicia

Such a beautiful engagment card you have created for your friend. She will love it.

How sweet are you, spending quality time with your Nan like that?! I bet she treasures that time spent with you. I hope she is back home soon with your Granddad.

Good luck with the new class. Hope it all goes well.

Michelle :-)

Oooh Alicia I just love this card, so vintage/shabby chic. Those flowers and the arrangement you have made with them are fabulous.
Bright pink nail varnish eh? Sounds as though it's making a statement.
Grade 6 is that 11 year olds? I have not long finished being a headteacher of primary school age children. Good luck with it.
luv and hugs {brenda} xoxox

Alicia this is such a pretty card. You do the 'shabby chic' look very well!

Not good news about your nan, but so lovely that you painted her nails for her. She would have loved that and felt so nice when you'd done it!

Have a great day! I'm hoping to get some cards done after I drop the kids at school and do my 3/4 hour walk! So hot here at the moment, so I am not looking forward to my walk at just after 8!
